There are two things that you really have to know about marijuana.
Marijuana certainly has a component which is called tetrahydrocannabinol THC, and then it has all of these other 60 to 80 compounds, in it which are cannabidiol.
Marijuana is grown in two different ways. There’s industrial hemp and then there’s
CBD is extracted from hemp plants, so it doesn’t have the THC, which gives people that high.
It’s the same essential plant but in two different pathways. You can genetically engineer it to produce a ton of THC, or you can use it to produce CBD.
The human body naturally produces endocannabinoids. CBD activates the endocannabinoids in our body to produce a calmness.
CBD can help people with pain anxiety and sleep deprivation, cancer, nausea, seizures, diabetes, pain, leaky gut and many more.
CBD can be used as a natural supplement to weaning patients off of high doses of pharmaceuticals.
you can take CBD if you are taking other medications but talk to your doctor before trying it.
CBD has been around for 8,000 years, but we’re just now seeing it because of recently passed legislation, in 2014 a federal farm bill passed allowing the growth of industrial hemp.
CBD doesn’t have any psychoactive properties, so CBDs never really been federally regulated as an illegal substance, because it doesn’t make you high, it doesn’t give
you a psychoactive substance, but it has a very useful purpose.
